do i need a oil catch can?
ok i'm about to install my setup and it should push 450-550 hp.
instead of a catch can. can i run a line from my valve cover to the bung on the turbo drain?
let me know, i think it should drain just fine.

to answer, yes, then no.
yes you need a can, no you shouldnt run it to a bung on the oil drain.
you need a place for the pressure to escape, and the catch can is the best way to do it. i am running the endyn kit for now, but on the new gsr, there will be a ported valve cover goin on.

no you cant drain back to the return its just pressurizing the same system.

its really cheap to make a DIY catch can. My block fittings and washers were $21 from my dealer, spent $5 on some tubing, like $2 on hose clamps, and $8 on a mini vent. I had some scrap metal lying around so i just welded that into a box and bought some $.90 fittings from home depot. Might not look as pretty as a $140 Endyn setup, but for under $50 and it works the same way how can you complain?
