Default Necessary upgrades prior to turboing...

Im going to be going turbo in the future (97 civic ex/97 jdm itr swap) but before i do i want to make sure my car can handle it. Here are the things i am planning on doing before hand, let me know if i left anything out:

Coilovers
New pads and rotors
New clutch/resurface flywheel
Fuel pump/injectors
Possibly Thicker head gasket

Don't bother with the head gasket unless it was switched in the past for something with a higher static compression.

Look into EMS of course........

check the last time your fuel filter was changed as well as your cap and rotor. New plugs also, as well as changing them every 5k or so.

Is the motor in good condition ie: compression/leakdown.

arp head studs are "stronger" than stock head bolts, which prevents the head from lifting above the block under high cylinder pressures (like when you're boosting quite a bit). I bet you can imagine for yourself about how bad that is for a motor.
