IMO, that intake is the most riced out thing you can do to your car.

Sell it and get a short ram if you are worried about water ingestion.

More than likely not, but if you are that worried about it, buy an AEM by pass valve or convert it to an SRI.

I do remember once my car bogging and shutting off when I had a CAI and no inner wheel well protector during a rainstorm. The car sat in my driveway for two days but then started up fine. I could only attribute the problem to the CAI sucking up moisture.

But idk if enough water could get into your engine to crack it or anything.

take it off and take it to a metal yard... they give you somewhere around 99 cents a lb. i also believe that the backs of those are solid blocking any chance any air has at hitting your radiator actually making less power than a short ram would yeild.

Short ram = warm air intake. Man up and go turbo!

minus well used the hundred bucks and bought a real intercooler and get the same about of power loss..thats wut i did..jk
as long as u like it i guess thats wut matters..just get a by pass valve..if it came in a two piece piping then on the top piece just cut it and insert the bypass valve there

Yes it is fine, you may have to spray the oil on it occationally to keep up with the performance and water resistance but that is it.
