Default intercooling idea?

hi guys, i was just wondering the other day if there would be anything to gain from running a front mount and then going through a water to air intercooler for even more reduced intake temps. still working on my turbo project and dont have eveything yet, but idea consist of running 18-20psi on high boost and 12-15 on low boost, will not be a drag car strictly, some dd on weekends and during the week. im sure there are a lot of other factors that come into play but im just talking generally speaking would someone have anything to gain from the above mentioned idea? thanks!!

id say a front mount will suit you just fine. water to air intercoolers are extremely expensive, if you are that worried about intake air temps you could do water injection for much cheaper

the problem with that is, where are you going to fit the heat exchanger? Running a FMIC in front of the heat exchanger for the air/water unit will reduce its efficiency....and there's no guarantee that the air/water will produce a cooler charge during daily driving than a FMIC.

Too complicated. Too much added weight for any benefits that might be gained.
