shorted my cigarette lighter and no sound from radio now ..

today i was working on my car and i shorted my cigarette lighter .. my radio stopped working .. i replaced the fuse and the radio and cigarette lighter works .. but now there's no sound .. does anyone know what could be the problem?

did you check the fuses under the hood and in the driver kick pannel?

yeah .. all the fuses are fine except for the radio/cigarette lighter fuse .. which i replaced .. the radio and cigarette lighter works .. just no sound .. the headunit is a 99 civic si ..

u might have to pull the deck and make sure its getting power through the wires..

You might have to read more carefully.

How would the radio work without power?
