I installed an obx throttle body spacer on my si. When I first started the car it would idle at about 2500 now it will rev from 1500 to 2500 back and forth like a bad throttle position sensor. I was real careful when I had the throttle body off. I cleaned it up real carefully on the throat and polished the throat up to about a half inch from the butterfly. Blew everything out with air before I reinstalled it. Now I have problems. And its not the cable being to tight...............Any helpful tips would be great............Thanx

 

i don't know much about that spacer, like if it comes with an extra gasket... but i would bet that you have a vaccum leak at the throttle body. if you spray some TB cleaner or brake cleaner on the TB area and the idle evens out then that'll confirm a leak. (oh, when you spray make sure you have the intake tube on and tight and if you have a cone filter be sure not to get any spray on it)
