Engine-One side much hotter than the other...
As the title says B16A2 engine in a 90 CRX, the left side of the engine (Standing in front of the engine, the side where the transmission connects) is MUCH hotter than the right side. I understand there is more stuff happening on the left side, but is it normal? The reason I ask is because after a decent drive I can touch the right side of the engine and it's not that hot, but the left side is untouchable for more than a second or 2.
Thanks
Thanks
tranny's,thermostat housing, battery, and radiator hoses are all over there..nothing but heat....like he said as long as its not overheating dont worry about,,
but the whole engine should be hot as hell...maybe not the timing belt cover or mounts but the block/head metal should be hot....

Ok thats what I thought, the engine isn't overheating. It's just that I just put in a new dual core all aluminum radiator, and before the whole engine was pretty hot, but now the right side stays wicked cool and left is well about the same lol
