Anyone use Aircat air tools?
Hey guys, im getting tired of my old IR 1/2" impact, im looking for something with a little more grunt. Ive used the IR titanium 2135, and it was sick. Light and super strong. But the price is just too much for me right now. Anyone ever tried this impact gun from aircat, or any aircat air tools for that matter? Care to comment on the quality of their stuff? Or should I just save for the IR gun?

its over $100 cheaper but boasts the same or similar specs. I realize most of the time you get what you pay for, is that the case here?
thanks

I was faced with that same decision myself. Cheaper Aircat or IR 2135 Ti...I just couldn't force myself to take the chance on the Aircat.
Keep in mind no matter what you buy, if you don't have a good volume supply line then no gun is gonna bust 1000lb/ft like they say. I use the typical 1/2" supply, and my IR is strong, but not as strong as if I had 3/4 supply at the same pressure.

At my work my boss had a MAC impact, my co-worker had a IR ti and the IR was wayy better. The MAC gun broke and he got that aircat gun, and all i have to say about that gun is it totally sucks ***. It was weaker than the MAC. Bolts and nuts that the MAC and Aircat had problems with the IR would get off like nothing.
Thanks for the replies guys.
My compressor/line setup is very sufficient, and Im pretty sure the setup at my new job will be too.
Thanks RC000E, personal experience with the gun is just what I wanted to hear
. I guess you cant judge just on specs alone, like alot of stuff. Too good of a deal for the specs to be true I guess. Ill prob just save up for the 2135ti I guess.
Anyone else?
O and btw, I have an IR231G right now, and used to think it was good, till it couldnt bust some stuff my friends craftsman professional could, then it really pissed me off

One thing I will add is...the IR2135 Ti is fast! Maybe it's because I always owned sucky guns...by that IR rips! If you run it at 130 psi it tears off lug nuts like your a NASCAR pit crew guy...haha.
