HELP!! with Brakes
yo
i've done a rear brake conversion on my 94 civic dx an put vti brakes all round on, but the hand brake doesn't work on the left capiler an its not braking properly on the rear right caipler. i bought a new handbrake cable for the left side thinkin it would fix the handbrake but it's still fucko'd. i don't ave a clue why its not braking properly on the rear right caliper. anyone have any ideas (do you need the master cylinder from a vti?) need it sorted

parking brake is a cable, it uses no fluid so master cylinder wouldn't do anything
isnt' there a spring at the acctual parking brake handle, you can use to tighten..

check if the cable is sticking someplace, then check around the caliper where the cable connects to the caliper and also check the caliper.. if u dont see the problem call for back up. also as said before on the handbrake handle one the armrest is remove you will see a i believe it was a 10-12mm nut that you can loosen or tighten,,
yo
i tried tightening the handbrake with the 12mm it aint working though. i think it might b getting caught somewere if not do you think it would be the caliper itself?
cheers

, it's a pretty simple process pull up handle, pulls on cables, calipers squeeze the pads..
so yea I would have to say it's the caliper
