im putting in a new dashboard, gray to black, in order to do this i have to drop steering column right?
my friend said two bolts i need to take off in order to drop is underneath by the steering column not sure on the socket size...deep socket 14 or 12?

and one more thing im installing carpet what size sockets i need for chair bolts?

 

For every honda all you need is 8, 10, 12 and 14mm sockets.

(12 and 14 will be the most common)

 

Why are you even asking this? Do you not have a complete socket set?

Yes, you'll need to drop the steering column which are 14mm nuts I believe. You'll remove this u-clamp thing. Seats are 12mm bolts.

 

he's probably renting tools....one socket at a time.

 

yes i believe the seats are 12 and the steering column are 14

 

Steering column bolts are 14mm, may have to use deep socket. then you will have two mount bolts on the end, one in the center underneath the vent on top of the dash, and a couple of miscellaneous bolts undereath. Should probably take off glove box. Don't have to but would be good idea. Bolts for seats are indeed 12mm. GL. Also don't try and pull the dash off until you make sure you have all the connections off.
