How do you adjust the idle? Is that what you are asking? There is a bracket with two screws on it, on the intake mani. You can adjust the two screws on the throttle linkage cable to adjust the idle. I usually idle around 1000 rpm when the engine's warm.

Gen 4 and 5 have an idle adjustment screw above the intake port. It looks like a big recessed flat head screw.
There's detailed instuction in the Helm manual for adjusting idle air properly that includes disconnecting the Idle Air Control valve setting the proper idle speed and reconnecting it. I posted the instruction in an earlier post.
