Cut testpipe of exhaust pipe?
Ok so now Im in the process of putting my head all back together and getting ready to install my SMS header, when I had a JDM 4-1 before.
I still have a cat at my house for emissions and what not.... but if I decide to cut the test pipe to fit the new header, then I couldn't have a cat anymore.
I have emissions Oct 18th. and I can't get tuned till Oct 21st. So I am thinking I will have to take off my exhaust and get a section cut out and keep the testpipe the same length so I can swap the cat on and off as needed in the future in case any cops pull me over for it being too loud or something I can always pass the inspection process.
How many of you agree with this move?
Its a smsp exhaust btw

yea I just know it would be a **** load easier to cut the testpipe and just not run a cat ne more...but I know if I did that, with my luck I get pulled over a week later and gotta cut my exhaust to fit that cat haha
