Which engine Takes more Boost?????

I want to know which Engine can take more boost, B18C spec R, or a B18C1?????

the C5 has too high of compression.

we are talking about internally stock motors right?

then yes the C1 can theoretically take more boost because the compression is lower.

what if you reinforce engine? on the C5, still not much boost?

just change the pistons. and get some lower compression pistons and it will be able to hold a more boost.

If your going to rebuild...it really doesn't matter which engine you start with.
