help with oil
on my dip stick there's 2 dots (holes) for measurement, well my oil is 1/4 of an inch higher over the top hole. can too much oil be bad? [my car burns oil] so i kinda over filled it accidently...

if it burns oil, it's already a bad thing. either you have a bad gasket or rings. but since your going to burn it up, i wouldn't worry about it.

dam your lucky i dont have any oil on my dipstick. if you over fill it a little it wont kill it. if you start smoking out the exhaust, then theres a problem.

It shouldn't be in there...as long as it's not like, twice the length of the fill mark you should be pretty fine. Though you're burning it so it'll go down.
BTW: How did you check it, ice cold engine on flat ground I hope?
