CEL came on about a week ago i read threads and they mention a little gray plug by the ecu to check. i have a 95 del sol vtec and there is only a blue plug with a green cover on it. am i looking in the wrong spot? please help!

 

that would be it. It has two wire going to it, correct? now jump those two wires (connect them with a paper clip or something). Turn your car to the "ON" position (do not start the car) and check the blinks of the CEL

for poor man's R basically what i have

 

it actually has 5 wires running to it so let me take a pic and ill post it shortly
(yeah can't wait for the poorman's!)

 

well, the plug with 2 wires should be in their with the green cover over it too

oh yeah forgot that. alright now i know a long blink is 10 short is 1 but does it continue throwing the same code over and over? it goes short, long, short, long, etc.

it will throw the same code over & over until you fix it. if you have more than 1 problem, it will display only 1 of them at a time until you fix it... then another 1 will pop up once it's taken care of.

 

ok it throws a short one then a long one am i reading it wrong cuz i believe a code 11 doesnt exist! please help!
