can anyone direct me a link, the car i just bought have a check engine light on, and i would like to fix the problem asap
Thanks in advance

THIS APPLIES TO ALL 92-00 CIVICS, REGARDLESS OF TRIM LEVEL, SO PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
There is a blue wire harness that has two wires, in the general area of the ECU, sometimes covered with a green sleeve for mounting purposes, there may also be other blue connectors down there, (as there is with my 00 EX) but all you need is the blue two wire connector.
Take a paper clip and stick it in the blue harness, to short out the two wires, then when the key is in the ON (II) position, the CEL will blink if a code is stored one long blink is 10, and a short one is 1, so 4 long blink and 3 short is 43, reference this code to a DTC chart that honda has, or that someone else has outletted for this use (this forum has lots of them)
If your CEL stays on and doesnt blink, and a few moments after that, the SRS light lights up, this means your car has sucessfully passed its self test, and all systems are okay at this time.
Please do some searching, I myself have written a post like this 3 times now, learn to search.
