Check engine light problem
I got my H23a swapped for a f22b and kept the ecu stock... now the check engine light is on... do you guys have any idea if this is somethign to worry about or what might be causing it? the engine runs clean and quiet so i dunno. Ty bart

no, you can check it yourself...locate a blue harness on the passenger side of the center console...then take a copper wire or a paperclip and bend it into a "U" shape. Stick it into the harness (while leaving your key in the "on" position without the car being started) and this will tell the ECU to go into diagnostic mode. Hold the wire there and read the light pattern that emits from the CEL. one long blink = 10 and each short blink = 1.
for example...if the light blinks: !...!!! = 13
then the code is 13.

(blue plug harness)its actually on the drivers side in ludes i had the same prob too i have a jdm f22b i got a tdc code still in the process of figurin it out

i did mine last week and it was on the passenger side of the center console.
