Default Phantom Grip LSD

First of all is it worth the money? I've heard numerous reviews about it .. some say its cheap crap, some say its good.. And if i were to get i have a 6th gen Accord, would i need to separate the transmission from the main block again.. i just installed the clutch and flywheel and i dont feel like taking the sub-frame out aagain and goin to the transmission.. is there a way around this? and should i get it? I just ordered the F-Max kit and i the tech there told me i should definitely get LSD for the car

there is no other way to get to the lsd w/o taking the tranny off and rebuilding it, personally i have one, but never installed it as i dont beleive in its design.

As for LSDs, spend the money, get a Quaife.

definatly if your getting a turbo you need a REAL lsd, for low horse power cars a phantom grip might work though,

An interesting note, of all the things that broke with JG Luder's NA lude his phantom grip never complained or broke. I think he was in the ballpark of 230whp NA? I still wouldnt buy one though. Id much rather have the peace of mind with a Quaife.

Just for sake of knowledge what is the difference between a quaife LSD and a Phantom and why is a Quaife so much better??

With things like this quality is a big issue. Both could use I dentical desings but if one uses a crappy manufacturing process that one will be more likly to break. Remember all of your engines power that is being transfered to the ground goes through this.
