Default phantom grip lsd system

i am just wondering if any one has this lsd setup and if you have had any problems with it, meaning breakage or any other problems. the reason is because you can make your non lsd tranny lsd for only $300.

Phantom grip does not make a LSD. Phantom grip mearly make your tranny spit out power eqaully to both wheels, instead of having 80% to non traction wheel and 20% to the grippy one. And this is all the time. It doesn't change as conditions change.

Where as some "LSDs" will give power equally as need, but a real LSD will give power to the wheel with the most traction. These change as conditions change.

For the money the Phantom grips aren't bad. However if it was my money I would want to save up for a real LSD.

You won't achieve near the performance upgrade from a Phantom Grip as you will from an OEM Honda LSD or something like a Quaife LSD. The only drawback to going with a real LSD is the price. Also note that either way you will have to pay someone to install it, unless you feel comfortable tearing apart a tranny.

Just do a little searching about the product. From what I've read, it has a tendancy to not work all the time and also ruin trannys.

I drove a car that had one. It did not perform anywhere near as well as a Honda or Quaife unit would.
