Passenger Door problem
Well my passenger door wont open from outside or inside. Also the window only goes %80 the way down now. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if you guys have any ideas.
i had the same problem when the rods that connect the handle to the lock wasnt properly attached. when i took the door panel off and fixed the broken connectors it opened up from the inside and outside
my window has a hard time rolling down it gets stuck and moves down like 1cm at a time then when it gets bout 70% down it works fine. odd didnt mean to thread jack but thats my problem kinda like yours

would a hanger work for u to get the door open. i would put the window down and slide in a hanger and see if u can pop the lock. it should work for u.

yeah, i had the same problem and it sucks. a coat hanger wont help you, the locking mechanism is too hidden to get at it. i would try putting your key in the door and giggling the key and the handle and pulling lightly at the same time. that was the only way i could get my door open. i had a rusted hinge on the locking mechanism that wouldnt let the linkages move. if you inside door handle doesnt move like it should you most likely have the same problem. let me know.
Yeah the handle doesnt have any resistance to it. But this key thing doesnt work either. Do i have to take this to the dealership or is there another way. I was thinking a slim jim or w.e. that car theif tool is would work well. Any other ideas?

Dissassemble the door panel the best u can. that is about the only way you are going to get it open is dissassembling the door panel the best you can and using some kind of tool or find the disconnected rods and work them till the door is open..

It's the tracking mechanism inside the jam. They tend to rust out and the window ends up not tracking properly getting caught. This will end up burning up your window motor over time depending on how bad it is.
