I have a GSR ecu on and it runs fine...but when i changed it to the p13 the car idles....can this be a motor problem?

yeah...thats kool....see the motors in a hatch....it's been running on a GSR Ecu..yesterday I went to my car a the shop because my other ecu is in there...its an obd1 p13..I changed it with the GSR one but it started to idle alot so can anyone help??

All running engines idle. That is not a problem. Do you maybe mean surges or dies or bogs or kills or ???

 

idle jumps up and down...sort of boggs..but when the GSR ecu is back in it works fine.

 

sounds like ur egr valve is possilbly stuck open a bit.

 

were is the egr valve located???
