timing issues.......

Default timing issues.......

in my 97 civic ex i and doing forged internals but i having problems with timing
the cam gear i think needs to be parellel to the head right. after that i have to find tdc for piston 1 right. i dont really know much about it but does the the crank gear have to be parellel also or what.

please i need some help. Thanks

for the ex its going to be just alittle bit futher advanced. And ingnition timing is I think like 14. And dx is going to be around I think 12. so thake your 12 mm wrench and bring it forward towards the front of the car a little bit.

On the crank shaft were the key sets should be about up, but also on the crank pulley gear there is a mark that supose to line up with the arrow on the oil pump.
