b16a2 with blow by
i recently got a b16a2 swap into my 93 si and now after a couple of months a driving it i have some blow by problems my question is should i pull i out and rebuild it or should i buy a b16 longblock from hmotorsonline all the help i can get would be great ...im pretty new to this stuff

it won't cost much if he knows how to pull the motor and ring it himself.

blow by is basically exhaust gases making it onto the ringlands and below the rings causing carbon build up, wear and loss of compression. its usually due to tired rings.

i apprecitate the help guys. just replacing the rings would be the cheap route but i feel like if i tear it all the way down then why not just rebuild it ... now i just gotta come up with some money to pay for it all
