Default NEW Dyno numbers on my Ls vtec turbo setup

Just dyno'd this week and put down 450whp and 305 tor. with a stock sleeved LS block and 81.5 mm pistons and eagle rods. Using the Tomzilla turbo from Tom at Camp1320. Will be posting pics and dyno soon. Was tune at 18 psi. I had too much gas in the tank to run race gas. Those numbers to come. I was sort of happy with the numbers for stock sleeves, but don't know how much more I should push it. Let me know what you think

The turbo actually has a T3 housing .63 Ar and spools up very fast. I was at full boost at 6200, 18 psi. The turbine is the same as a T66 I believe with all precision internals so what I have been told with an S housing. I got it at a very good price considering other turbos of its equalivant ratings. Get buy for the money. Thanks Tom

I have the following

edelbrock intake manifold
cc fab ramhorn turbo manifold
44 mm wastegate
50 mm tail bov
3 inch intercooler piping and downpipe
750 Rc injectors
golden eagle fuel rail aeromotive fuel pressure reg.
built head RLZ stage 2 vavletrain with REV flat face valves
GSR cams
JDM GSR tranny with stock LSD and ACT clutch with Jun flywheel
just .020 over bore on the LS block and that's about it

some more stuff that's the basics. Does anyone else have this sort of turbo and setup. I was reving the motor to 9000 and was still making power.

You're making 18psi by 6200? I make 30psi by 6500 with a GT42R.

Something is wrong somewhere, either that turbo isn't performing how it should, or you've got a major restriction somewhere.

It might be a little bit before that, but I do only have a 81.5mm motor as well. My old 84.5 mm motor spooled much faster than this one and the turbo I have isn't ball bearing either so there's a couple hundred rpms there too.

That is not correct...Tony is def right. My blowzilla is fully spooling 18psi by vtec engagement at 5k. My turbo is very similar to yours and isnt ball bearing either. Either way its probably fast as F*^(!

you should be at full boost by 5500rpm, but never the less good numbers, especially on stock sleeves with pump gas
