i was luckily enough to have a local jdm engine importer local.

i trust hmotors but its nicer to actually see the engine first and pick it up yourself

got my jdm h22 w/ m2b4 tranny, p13 ecu, extra tps, and delivery to my house from the shop (roughly 3 hrs drive) for $2100. it was from a shop in new hampshire called established auto sales. i had some delays getting it and my new transmission I have been waiting for is 2 months past estimated delivery time... apparently it's stuck at customs..
