Default Good Distributor/Ignition GSR

Hi Gang,

I'm new here and have the first year 1995 GSR. I think my ignition
fried as I'm getting no spark.

SO

I'm wondering which is a good reliable combination for my little V-TECH?

MSD Ignition system
Accel Ignition system

I saw Distributor King on ebay but don't know much about them.

Any advice and comments greatly appreciated as it don't work.

1. GS-R's were released in 94, not 95.
2. Why do you think there is no spark? How have you checked for this?
3. V-tech is a phone. If you've got one that's great, but Honda's don't.
4. Stock ignition systems are fine for relatively low HP numbers. Only needed really for Boosted applications.
5. If your dizzy is really at fault, go with Distributor king, otherwise OEM
6. This is the ITR forum. The regular Integra forum may be able to provide better assistance.

1. GS-R's were released in 94, not 95. Yeah
2.a Why do you think there is no spark? Tested
2.b How have you checked for this?
Pulled plug and grounded it
with wire and cranked ignition.
Inspected the innards and they also
look well used, with oil and grime in
the cap.
3. Thanks again.
4. Stock ignition systems are fine for relatively low HP numbers. Only needed really for Boosted applications. Just stock.

Just finished up the ohm check of the coil (spec) .
A&B measures 1 ohm (.6 - .8)
A & 2nd measures 9.63KOhm (12.8K - 19 k ohm).

5. If your dizzy is really at fault, go with Distributor king, otherwise OEM

Since I'm new here, though R would be better then the LS or RS, since I didn't
see a GS-R forum.

PS - I've ownded it so long I kinda forgot what year it is. Yes,
it is a 94. I kept thinking it was the 95 model year.

So is a Dist King come with the internal coil too?

Thanks for your patience y'all.
