If I am adding an MSD SCI, do I need my distributor? My distributor craed out on me and I figured I might just go with an aftermarket ignition system rather than buying a new/rebuilt distributor. Can I loose my distributor? Does the SCI come with a distributor?

This will go on a B20B engine (non-VTEC)

No the SCI does not come with a distributer, and yes you do need to have one on the motor. The distributer still handles the sequence in wich the ignition is fired.
