Default Poor-Mans-TypeR 85mm Turbo motor!!!!!!!!!!

wat up hT members,
well just wanted to kno if anyone here had a setup like mine,...
wanna see wat im lookin forward to in hp, and maybe track time.....

b17a1 head
Stock,vavles,retainers etc
99gsr cams
Skunk2 intake manifold

b18c10 85 mm(RS machine)
cp pistons 9:0:1
eagle rods
arp head studs
copper head gasket

1000 cc Rc
Log Manifold
t3/60-1 turbo
TiAl 38mm
Turbo xs Boost Controller
2 1/2 custom exhaust
Apexi N1
W.255 flp
GReddy bov
GReddy pipping
Greddy Intercooler(sprayed Black)
NX nitrous kit
Hondata s200 w/Boost

95 Gsr Tranny
6 puck solid hub act disc
CC Extreme pressure plate
Act 12lb flywheel
and last but no least................an S2000 6 speed shift ****,,...lol.........this setup wouldnt be complete without that!!.


only thing im waiting on is the injectors to arrive.....planing to do some work to the head this yr,.....

wat u guys think?

how much power are you pushing? you need a 3" down pipe and exhaust with that turbo.

well i had the car with 440 cc, sold them and now im waiting for the 1000cc, yeah 2 1/2 aint gunna cut it but ima get exhaust done when my injectors come in........

setup sounds nice to me. If i were you i would just run open downpipe.. Loud but effective since you have a restrictive exhaust..

yea but the down pipe might be 2.5" also.

size of the downpipe has nothing to do with the flange of the exhaust matching up.. there are 2 different 5 bolts flanges if im not mistaken and one is smaller then the other.. LIke the one on the .48 exhaust is smaller then the one on the .63 exhaust.. if you get the drift.

i am talking about his down pipe might be 2.5". i said nothing about a flange nor did anyone else.

sweet setup man, expect a lot of power


however, i would get some kind of bigger exhaust, or as someone said, run open downpipe and just take the car out on occasion. dont forget about cutout options as well

***** performance charging me $150 an hour to tune it?!?!? he said it might be 4 hours,? does any one kno any good tuners in the New England area!!???

$150 an hour really isnt that out of the ordinary, expecially with a "standalone"

I wouldnt go cheap on a tune...
