AHHHH need Help!! Idle Problem
Ok first off its a B18B1 in a 96EK, did the swap myself, been driving it for about half a year now. Two days ago, I was driving and all of a sudden when my foot was off the gas and i was just crusing to a stop on local streets my car started jerking/stuttering. Sure enough less than a minute later I saw my CEL come on, checked it today it gave me a 14 if the code is the same as the one posted for the 92-95 civic, it would be the IACV.
So I researched, and decided to clean out the IACV and FITV. After that I started my car for 15 minutes with the cap off the radiator to get the air out. Looked like things got better, then i got in and started driving, not even a minute into my drive, same problem.
Also, when im on the clutch, the car's idle is krazie, it has a fast fluctuation at around 1500. Just keeps jumping right around there.... HELP i've been fixing problem after problem after the swap and everytime its good for about... 2-3 weeks, then something new pops up. PPl on here have been a great help.

Just wondering, before i get the problem fixed, lets just say it is a vacum leak, is it bad for the engine to drive it like that? cuz it feels pretty bad, with the stuttering and all.... thanks
I was troubleshooting the problem again today, with my car on i reached behind the IM and felt the hoses going into my IACV, felt some coolant leak out, is that a possible reason for my irratic idle?
If you got air in your coolant, yes it can be the problem.
Make sure to set the heater controls to full hot but the leave actual fan off. Gotta get coolant to circulate through that too. Hopefully you're leaving the radiator cap for a long enough time as well.
