Default Gona boost....oh but how much

I have a stock block lude. Im puting togather a turbo kit, getting ready to buy my wastegate and spring. Im not sure how much to boost the factory block. I have plans for low comp. pistons later, but for right now what is the highest I should go......edit....safely go. Im thinkin about 10 at the most....what do ya think??

It would help to know which motor is in your prelude.

Most of the time, people run 8 psi on a stock H22 block. Tuning is key for reliablity.

5-7 psi is a good start. 10 is pushing it a little.

Also, there is a link in the FAQ thread that talks about this stuff.

Its just the typical usdm h22a, i believe they run at 10 or 10.5 to 1 compression. Plans are for 9.0 to 1 pistons. Then a ported head with dual springs, retainers, guides, and a nice set of valves to top it all off. Oh and a block guard. I think im gona have KMS do the head for me.
