How hard is it to pry off axles.
tranny
I was going to leave them in the hub and just support them so they can hang while i drop the tranny to replace the clutch, flywheel and pressure plate.

I pry axles out of the tranny with two flat head screwdrivers, prying on opposite sides of the mating surface. The axle will eventually pop right out with this method. The axle can be tapped out of the hub with a rubber hammer, if it won't slide right out on its own.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Thanks, ill give that a try. The only thing is with the hub side where the nut is indented in, im having a hard time getting it to punch out. I try to use a thin flathead but i am afraid of messing up the axle.
Thanks again.

I'm lazy, so I often just unbolt the intermediate shaft with the driver's side axle still connected to it.

Thats what i did, and it the intermediate shaft came right out. Was just about to take off the tranny, had to remove the two motor mounts and ended up braking two rachtes leaving me with nothing. And i could even go back to Sears to replace them cause they already closed. So i have to wait till tomorrow.
To not having a full set of tools
Thanks again Reid and everyone else for helping me out. Hopefully everything else will go pretty smoothly.
