hey guys i need some help

i got a 99 civic sir and recently got a alarm installed with remote starter

so i try to use my remote starter and i hear alarm goes beep x2 and then a click from my car and it doesnt crank
all my electrical stuff in my car goes out, no horn, lights and radio clock resets

so then i give my battery a couple taps while my lights are in the on position, i see my headlamps light up, i crank my car and it starts with no hesitation

it happens again this time with out remote starter.
i try to start my car with key hear a click, all electrical goes out, give my battery a couple taps and its cranks without hesitation


what gives?

 

they installed it wrong?
