Default Civic Type R steering wheel with quick release hub????

Can i put a civic type r 96-00 steering wheel with like lets say a NRG quick release hub???? The way i see it is u attach the wheel to the hub and then the hub to the steering column, maybe not as easy or seeming then i think...i know it doesnt fit directly onto our columns...but any conversions available besides a new column..

no...jdm steering wheels cannot be paired up with quick release hubs. for that get a detachable steering wheel with a qr hub. oem steering wheels will not work...

not so fast. i saw someone who made a NON SRS ITR wheel removable. I looked at it and the wheel is mounted with for bolts to the stock hub. supposing you remove the hub and somehow mate it with a QR and an aftermarket hub then maybe.
