steering wheel quick release?

does a qucik release work on an oem jdm wheel?

To my knowledge, it does not. Quick releases are inteded only for aftermarket steering wheels like momo or sparco....

yeah the type r steering wheels are momo, but from what i know they use different bolt patterns than aftermarket hubs

Momo manufactures the wheel for honda, but is still a stock style steering wheel with a splined hub in the center that everything bolts to.

One other thing about a quick release, you'll want one that retains your horn function. Most don't have any electrical connections built in, so you must have a "phone cord" connecting them.

Or fabricate one. Mine is made out model railroad brass pieces.
