i am palnning to build a b18c with ls crank, Stage 2 valavtrain and cams also, i wanna kno how high can i rev wid stock block wid ls crank???

GSR rods on ITR pistons....can it work???

 

I didn't know valvetrain came in stages?

 

use the ls rods if you gonna use the ls crank

 

can i rev to 9k rpm safely? wat else would i need in order to rev so high?

 

I have a gsr with low comp pistons (previous owner put them in replacing them soon) skunk2 stage 2 cams, skunk2 valves, springs, and retainers, SK2 cam gears, stock crank and a few other things (look in my garage for the rest of the parts) and I rev to 9K every gear when I am in the mood. No problems yet. Here soon I will probably bump the rev limiter to 9500, and stop there

 

how high do u want to rev and why? u know high rpm doesnt necessarily mean anything accept ur car is making more noise sometimes?

 

not that high if u don't use ARP Rodbolts.

 

wid my above setup, is it better to run ls rods or GSR rods???

cams that make power that high

use ls rods if you use an ls crank

 

i ran ls crank n rod with arp rodbolt ..

you can't use gsr rod with ls crank ( jornal bearing dif in size).
