Default How high to rev?

How high is it safe to rev with no oil squirters for an LS engine if you put ARP rod bolts in, Si pistons (yea I know that has no effect) crower 403 cams, 3 angle valve job on OEM valves, Crower springs and retainors?

What's the Stock REV limit on an LS? Did you remove the REV limiter?

The LS Crank has a larger stroke than a B16 or B18c. The Rods and Crank are also not as strong and not built to take HIGH REVING abuse. Without oil squirter I gather you will have a lot of heat down there and RISK atlot to over rev it. Oil helps lub the components and reduce the friction between the metals also reduce the heat since the Heat comes from the Friction. The engine with Higher rev limits have the OIL Squrtters installed for a GOOD REASON.

You probably aren't making any power beyond 7000rpm's, so I wouldn't rev much higher than that if I were you.

If by Si pistons, you mean B16A pistons, then that will quite a large effect. Assuming you have a stock block/head with b16a pistons, your compression will be around 10.8:1, comapared to the 9.2:1 that is stock.

with the 403's? They are rated up to 8500 rpm, I know that power will peak probally around 7200 or so, but there still is power.

Bigger cams love higher compression. The 403's will definately benefit from the higher compression. With the headwork you are talking about, its should be able to handle 8500, but I wouldnt be to comfortable doing that on the stock block. Maybe have it balanced and definately the ARP rod bolts.

I have a sol (I posted in the teg forum since this kind of set up is mainly in tegs) For times, I dont know, Maybe mid 14's but to tell you the truth, I dont give a f*ck about times. Drag racing is boring, I am building this for autoX (hence the NA part) I want trq and power always on tap.
