Is It OK To Reuse An OEM Headgasket? Only 1500 Miles On It
I put my Y8 head on about 1500 miles and now i need to take my head back off to repalce my valve seals, now will it be ok to reuse my OEM headgasket? If not I could just get another one for $20

lol 20$ is worth not having the possibility of ripping the head off AGAIN when you need to go to work. and who knows, you might have to WALK to the dealer for a new HG

sorry to hear that, but it's still no reason to be cheap when it comes to a headgasket. you'll end up spending more in the long run.

Valve STEM seals. I wish people could get the damn terminology correct around here. They don't seal the valve. They regulate the oil distribution to the stem to lubricate the guides.
