Default A/C Problem again

as some off u know i had my a/c compressor on a 00 v6 replaced about 2 months ago b4 i left the country. well i got a call from my mom and was told the car is back in the shop b/c the a/c stopped working well wen i had it replaced they said theres a short some where but it still worked. So a few days ago they replaced a fuse hoping that would fix it . they also said the short is some where in the fuse box under the hood. i have a local junk yard that has a wrecked 00 2Dr v6 can i interchange fuseboxes?? is the 2dr fuse box the same as the 4 DR ?
any suggstions why this could be happening
looking for option and opinions
Thanks

check for corrosion in the fuse box (green/blue build up ) swollen wires , if the fuse is blown then it is a short if fuse is ok it is what is referred to as an "open " circuit
crud, broke wires cause this ,bad connection in the wiring harness (a/c) circuit could be the culprit too

when u say bad connection in the wiring harness (a/c) circuit could be the culprit too
could this be the a/c control unit inside the car. i mean the where u can conrtol the temp and turning a/c on and off ?

Any AC problem is going to require pressure readings, system operational and just prior to system kicking off.

i was referring to the engine compartment area as this is where wiring gets the most abuse from heat and oil, as well as from the elements of weather

a good honda dealer will usually diagnose your car for 1 hour worth of labor as the charge and will typically give you credit for that 1 hour if you decide to let them fix the car.

I dont know about the fuse box issue swap over but I THINK I am pretty good with AC, it may be electrical and maybe I cannot point you in the right direction like this but if you can give pressures both when the system shuts off and a few seconds after it comes back on I CAN let you know where to go from there PLEASE, are you trying to help your mom, are you not at home now.

Trying to help.
