IACV Wiring
When I did my D15B Vtec swap in my EF my IACV plug was all messed up and I have it pretty rigged up bad so I dont throw a CEL, but Im guessing its good enough to not throw a code but still not good enought to function 100% right, like I get a surge sometimes, very rarely but get it. Also I get BAD popping on decel and when I unplug the IACV it dosent pop on decel. What I pretty much did is use a splice to splice the 12 wire for the IACV on the harness and then just ran the singal wire to my conversion harness with butt connectors and what not.
So I was prett much wondering where the best spot to get a 12 V source from. I tired a couple before I found the wire on the harness for the IACV and it would make the IACV wigg out and make a rapid clicking noise, and also make my main relay click. Pretty weird, the only 12V source that worked out was the one on the harness and that wire is eaten up pretty bad. Is there another I can run STRAIGHT to the connector for the IACV and solder it up and heat wrap it. Also Im going to do the same with the signal wire.

I am going to replace the plug but the wires on my harness side are messed up, the signal wire dosent even match up to the ecu, that is why I ran a new wire to the ecu from the IACV, and the 12 wire is stripped so short its hard to get a good connection.
