Extending wires in the wiring harness
I installed an EX manifold on my d16y7 a while back. Everything is wired correctly but its kinda sloppy and i want to clean it up. Some of the wires are too short and i had to pull the harness kinda tight to make them reach their destinations. Mainly concerned with the injectors.
My question:
Are there any wires in the harness that cant be extended by just cutting and resoldering with more wire. IE magnetically shielded wire or somthing similar?
Thanks,
Brian

Good solder joints and some shrink tubing, you will be fine. If you have to practice your soldering skills on some scrap wire first. Good luck
**Good quality multi-strand wire is what I use, automotive grade. I usually use wire simialr to the painless wiring spools, but have gotten good results with the wire that you can buy at AutoZone, etc. Comes in a selection of colors also.**

Re: Extending wires in the wiring harness (SLPR)
Thanks for the responses. Im good at soldering and had planned to utilize heat shrink. Just wondering if I should be concerned about the TYPE of wire that i use to extend.
