Default 14 degrees BTDC + or - 2 degrees? no color?

trying to set the timing on my HF, manual says 14 degrees BTDC + or - 2 degrees... for the STD and SI it gives a color...for mine it doesnt...which mark is 14 degrees? or should i set the timing gun to 14 degrees and line it up with the white mark?

Also that stupid thing i need to short... is the part the wires go into blue? is it right next to the blower motor?
