you planned on doing one of the above for under $5k? good luck.
tear down the B18B, balance & blueprint, p&p, build it for turbo and slap a drag3 kit on.
but then again, you want to spend $3k. so i dunno what to tell you really. you must get a great deal on engines & turbos if you can swap AND turbo for $3k.
stick with your LS.

Hes right no way you'll spend under 3k unless you have the hook-ups. Just finished putting in h22a into my girlfriends 99 civic(so far with basic bolt ons about 4k) And the b20 thing nah just turbo yours and build it up. But last i checked turbos alone are 3k. Good luck.

Keep ur LS btom end...have it resleeved and bored to 84mm (better than 84.5mm if u ever have to rehone it)...now u have what's basically a b20 bottom end (same crank and stroke) but stronger since u had it resleeved......now find a B16 head, slap that on, and turbo it all...

Under 3g's for a swap and turbo. You better own your own shop, get wholesale prices, and do all the work yourself. I say you should add a vtec head, and build the b18 block for turbo, and just turbo that.
