If money is not an issue, go all out and do the CRVtec turbo.. otherwise sell the head and use that money to build up the B20 or to buy a good engine management system.

I've been considering this too, is it worth it, or should I just get a Drag 3, and put it on my B18C5?

as far as i know..nobody sleeves the b20 blocks (yet). - with that in mind it puts your maximum boost level to around 15psi because of hondas open deck design.
I would go with a b16 or b18 and sleeve/stroke it to 2.0 or 2.1 (if you use the b18) and then you can run 30psi safely. (with the right supporting mods of course)
I wouldnt bother with the b20 personally..waste of time if you wanna go all out. If you want something stock and pretty fast then the b20 might meet your needs.

so you guys say that crvtec will cost me $$$$$ so what about b20 turbo ,b20 is a monster thorque and will make turbo spool faster maybe in the 2500rpm ,
the b20 has some thicker wall cylender whit a block gard should be safe to boost 20psi or 400 whp???
no one here did a b20 turbo?
dustin or annyone who knows what his talking about

i have seen crvtec/turbo making around 350hp @ 12psi. Ditch the vtec head and you might loose say 50hp..but 300hp @ 12psi is nothing to shake a stick at. And with the large bore it will be a torque monster and spool a pretty big turbo really nice.

Lets say I put in a B20Vtec in my Gsr with my exact set up. Now, I dynoed at 277 whp at 7.35 psi. Now, the b20 displaces 10% than my Gsr. Ive seen at 8psi B20 vtec dyno at 304whp, and the funny thing is that is exactly 10%more whp than my car. We are finding out now that there really is "no replacement for displacemet"

Re: crvtec turbo wort it? (Arturbo)
I am still getting my CRVTEC setup dialed in but dynoed at 3-4 p.s.i it netted 224 w.h.p.
I believe it should do over 300 easily with gobs of torque.

Re: crvtec turbo wort it? (Arturbo)
what exactly is needed to mate a b20 block to a say an ITR head? lets say you have a b20 block sitting at home along with an ITR head.. just a new headgasket and slap it on? JE makes pistsons for b20 and eagle rods are available for it too right? basically the question is how difficult is it to put a b20 together if you have all of your parts..

Re: crvtec turbo wort it? (hybrid_eg)
I don't know exactly what is required but i'm pretty sure that it takes more than just a new headgasket. From what i've heard, some drilling is required.

How much do B20 blocks go for. Cause it seems more worth it to get a B18a/b block and bring it to GEM(godzilla sleeves are 750) and it will be same bore or bigger than a b20 but also much stronger.
