different feel
okay my friend has a 99 ex and i have a 95 ex and i drove his car and it shifted different than mine, i thought it was just cuz it was a different year then my other friend just bought a 94 civic ex i drove it and it shifted the same as the 99, in gear it the shifter is moves a lot it almost feels like its in nutral, but the other cars it bearly moves in gear, and the way it feels when you are actually pulling down the shifter to shift gears feels a lot smoother in there cars, is it supposed to be like that or what
thanks

And mine as well
And mine as well
can the linkage its self go bad? or would like the brushings be bad? cuz i put new ones in, energy brushings or w/e. i just want to know if i should go buy a new linkage or would that not help

The slop of the shifter has a lot more to do with the "bitch pin" and how tightly it's in place than the condition of your bushings. Bushings contribute to the solidity of shifts and the precision of the movement from gate to gate.
