I need to know what you need to swap a Y8 intake manifold over to the Y7. What parts are needed from the Y8 and what are retained from the Y7? Are the only things you need the manifold itself, IAC, and gaskets? What about the sensors? I know you can keep the Y7 throttle body but is there anything to be gained from swapping to the Y8 TB? TIA

 

you will be getting a bigger TB and better runner so its worth the swap and is very easy to do

 

everything should be the same the IAC plug is the same. so its like a plug and play put remember to replace the gasket

 

i was thinking about doing this swap as well...what's an IAC? don't you need the cams from the Y8? and the ECU?

i just got my hands on the same thing...and im trying to figure how its gona wire up, everything but the IAC valve is fine....the IAC on a 96-2000 civic DX is a 3 wire.....Ex is 2 wire......not sure how this is gona work

 

if the iacv is on the tb then just swap over to thy7 tb on the y8 manifold.
