Default FIXED !!!!"throwing cel 14 .. again, iacv" FIXED!!!!

Ok I know everyone has heard this problem before and it doesnt seem like anyone knows how to solve the mysterious cel that comes with it.. We all have answers for why the engine would surge etc (vaccuum leak, bubble in coolant, etc) but i need help isolating possible code throwing problems, thanks

I have replaced the iac, cleaned the iac, cleaned the connectors, reset ecus, checked for leaks, but codes are still thrown.

I also have a skunk2 proseries manifold and 68 mill proseries TB. The 68 mill TB of course removes the fitv from the motor setup, so please dont say thats the reason.

in short

CODE = 14, IAC V.... possibly because?

1) broken wires
2)__________

thanks

I think I heard about a spray or something that you could spray and it'd spray out a certain color and u'd be able to see if u had a leak..

I think...

Umm..I might be dreaming all of that...

If not a leak I'd have no idea, IMO the IACV is a pain in the *** - all the time

ran new wires nothin... my vafc2 even shows air correction.. and it moves... which means the iac is working and the wires up to the ecu know it... well what the hell... any on eelse here have a skunk 2 proseries intake manifold? maybe its that?

also i put my finger on the hole in the tb.. and it sucked it in.. with and without the plug.. so i dont think that matters.. cleaned the iac for a good 10 min with carb cleaner.. i dont know if i hear it clicking... but i hear a weird mehhhhhhhhhh noise when i let go of the throttle.. yay for sucking at iacs... i need help!!!

Im pretty sure im in the same boat as you man, I have a jdm gsr with a victor x pro series, and im having the same problem. I have tried everything except swapping the computer, I have even put in a new harness, and still nothing. I am getting fed up to the point im gonna put a b16 in and not deal with this anymore

edit: this is in a 97 hatch by the way, obd1 injectors,alt,dizzy, and a obd2 to obd1 jumper harness, with obd1 p72

hate to burst ur bubble.. well hatch lol... but i have a b16 and am havin the problem... so i wouldnt suggets u change ur motor cuz of it... and the shell is a 97 ex 2dr, motor jdm b16 with jdm p30 (obd1) with obd2 => obd 1 conversion harness,

and the thing that irks me is that there were no codes before i swapped the intake manifold and tb
