Default Spinning stud need help!

Anybody have any ideas how to get a lugnut off if the stud is spinning with it? My brakes are grinding pretty bad and I can't get my wheel off. Thanks in advance.

Im assuming youll have to cut it off.

The splines that hold the stud still in the hub are stripped, but how in the hell did that happen?

I'm not really sure. Some girl hit the front side of my car a couple months ago. All I can imagine is that when she hit my car, the stud must have come loose somehow.

I don't have air tools to cut it off. What if I drilled a hole in the center of the stud and jammed something in there and held it tight while I loosened the lug? But what could I jam in there that would hold it still? Is there a certain type of punch that would work?

first make sure the lug is spinning because its stripped...is the lug the same length as the others? if it is then it is stripped, u need to cut it off, just use a hacksaw blade.

then u have to check if the stud stripped, or if the grooves in the rotor stripped, a lug only costs a buck if that.
