The motor was getting EXCESSIVE blowby, and not making as much power as it should, and couldnt keep an oil pan gasket - kept leaking too much crankcase pressure

Let me know what u think (PS- No cracked sleeve that is glare from shitty camera. 420 miles on fresh built motor.

 

what was your piston to wall clearance when the engine was assembled? Ring end gap? what was your oil pressure? (idle, cruise, wot) when warm/cold? who built the engine? Can you take a close up picture of the rings while installed on the piston?

 

that looks like it ran lean..

 

no specs as I did not build it myself. machien shop assembled it

 

how rich are your air fuel ratio? maybe ya washed ya rings

 

11.5:1 WOT, 12.0:1 partial throttle
