T25 at 6-8 psi in a Civic

Default T25 at 6-8 psi in a Civic

just got a free t25 from my buddy, not up much on the the whole car scene, call me a ricer i dont really care, but i just wanna check and see if 6-8 psi on a d16y8 is too much, some are tellin me it will ruin my engine, or possibly could, others say it is fine, can anyone give me some help here or advice?

It's fine. Many people run T25's on d-series motors. I am one of them Check out http://www.homemadeturbo.com so you can see what all you need to fab up to get the turbo on and workin. And 6-8 psi with that turbo is fine as long as the motor is properly tuned.

sorry about placing it in wrong forum, kinda new, but yeah i live in the middle of the sticks pretty much so ill start hunting for place to properly tune it, or ill just have a buddy do it, cuz i told ya once, i dont exactly know what im doing, i know how a turbo works, but not how to tune or anything...and yeah i have checked out that site and saw what people did, oh and emissions will i pass with the turbo? been hearing a lot that i wont
