what turbo? make sure you get a good tune and you should be fine up to about 230whp thats when d series rods tend to let go

Dont think in terms of psi...rather, set a horsepower goal. Most people call it quits around 220-240whp with stock Ds. The nice thing about the D is that an Eagle/Vitara build (good for mid 400whp) is really, really cheap

Don't go by psi, find out how much hp you want than match up the turbo. I'm running a spoolin mani and 2.5 downpipe with a t3/t4 50 trim with a .48 a/r. At 10psi (10.7 on the datalog) I'm at 255whp. That power most likely has to do with the open downpipe though.

I have about 127,000 miles and the only internal upgrades have been a new hg and arp head studs.

There is big sohc turbo thread that you can look at to see other peoples setups.

Remember its all in the tune. aka= don't run alot of timing or it'll pop lol!!

i was thinking t3/t4 .50 trim. i want around 230 whp and i was thinking about buying a kit of arp head bolts.

and there is a local shop in blatimore on rte 40 called je import performance you guys might know them so i may take it there for the tune.

i have an exedy stage 1 clutch and flywheel so that good for now.

what all will i need??any other suggestions??
